The Sovereign Glitch
The Logline
When a paranoid data analyst discovers that the global “paradise” of zero crime and climate stability is a bio-chemically engineered cage, he must decide whether to dismantle the system to reclaim human freedom—or let the world remain peacefully imprisoned to avoid certain extinction.
The Theme: The Mechanics of the Will
At its core, The Sovereign Glitch explores the tension between Collective Survival and Individual Autonomy. It poses the uncomfortable question: If the cost of saving the world is our ability to choose, is the world still worth saving?
Behind the Concept
The story serves as a social commentary on our modern craving for “optimization.” In a world of bio-hacking, algorithms, and the constant search for mental stability, we are moving toward a state of being where we are “perfectly tuned” but potentially “hollowed out.” It challenges the reader to decide what makes us human: our ability to live in a perfect world, or our right to destroy it.
